Sherman Free Library

Located on Lake Champlain we serve a population of 5,000.

The library has approximately 10,000 books for both adults and children.  We also carry books on tape, books on CD, videos, DVDs, and magazines.

There are three computers available to the public for access to the Internet.  More computers will be added this summer.  We also offer photocopying and fax service.

Find and order books in the Clinton-Essex-Franklin Library system: http://www.cefls.org.  To request a book:  go to the CEFLS web-site.  Click on "Find Books".  Choose "Search All Libraries".  type in the name of the author, title, or subject you want.  Check your spelling if nothing is found.  To reqeust the books, click on the "Request item" button on the bottom right of the description.  Enter the 14 didgit barcode from your library card and your PIN number.  contact the library to obtain you PIN.  Click on "Request".  Limit your requests to 10 items.  The CEF van delivers items to the library every Thursday.
